I can say that a working mom has the best of both worlds.
On a personal level, a working mom, after her official working hours, goes home and has the opportunity to lovingly nurturr her home with her husband and her kid/s, maintain her household, enrich her creativity by preparing and experimenting on the dishes to be served and organizing the house (there should always be enough space to store the increasing number of toys and all the personal stuff of the kid/s) and has the luxury of resources (in the form of time, finances, physical resources such as books, gadgets, etc) to keep her busy and entertained during her free time.
On a professional level, a working mom improves her social, management, political skills (hehehe) as she chases and conquers her professional aspirations.. On the side, she gets to augment the family income and maintain her financial independence, which can also result to financial freedom and the luxury to buy or given their sky-rocketing prices (hehehe), invest on her “vices” (bags, accessories, make-up, gadgets, shoes, spa, massage and etc..)
As a working mom, I can say that I am really blessed. In spite of my struggles, I am learning the rudiments of a working mom and I am able to juggle, manage and perform.. Hahahahaha. I cannot say that I am good in what I am doing, but I hold on to the kind words and generous compliments that my hubby my love usually give me. The appreciation of my husband and the loud cheers of my son are the best affirmation and recognition of my efforts as a working mom – a professional homemaker. Hehehe
I am actually writing this note to praise all the working moms (full time moms as well, because being a mom itself is not and will never be an easy endeavor, is a lifetime vocation) to acknowledge the people who have been helping me perform and lastly, to share tips on how I am able to pull it all as a working mom..

- My mom in law – she has always been our “go to” person whenever something urgent pops us. She has never failed to extend her helping hand. Thank you so much Pilar. We love you always.
- Our Nanny and the professionals managing the extracurricular activities: Hats off to these loving professionals who take good care of other´s children for a living.
- Online shopping –Since I no longer have the luxury of time to move around, online shopping provided a very convenient and practical solution. My husband my love and I usually buy in bulk our monthly grocery supplies (except meat, seafood, veggies and fruits, which we buy on a weekly basis to ensure the freshness of the products). With online shopping, shopping is a breeze!! No long queues, no crowds and most of all, shopping in the comforts of your home!! Hehehe
- Youtube – I get to copy recipes of easy, authentic dishes
- Multifunction kitchen gadgets - these kitchen gadgets make cooking a very pleasant experience!! It save me a lot of time and am able to prepare healthy and complete meals for my family!!
- Kind, generous, understanding workmates who respect my working schedule and who are advocates of work life balance (like me!!!)
