It was only 4 days of vacation leave but it totalled to 9 days including the New Years Day holiday and the weekends and I can honestly say that those were 9 days of domestic bliss, quality time with my family, freedom from schedule and heavy commuting. For someone who enjoys her work a lot (I am one dedicated professional after all), I was absolutely, totally disconnected from work during these 9 days!! I would from time to time check my office mobile phone but I am so proud to say that I resisted responding to office emails!! yehey!!!
I am so grateful for these 9 days of vacation, holidays and time-off in general!!!
As the OC in me is calling, as early as 7pm, I have already prepared our stuff for tomorrow´s grand return to regular programming - school and work that is. :)
Thank you my dear Lord for these wonderful holidays and please bless us as we go back to our regular programming. Please be kind to us school and work and 2018, we are all ready for you!!
